Family Thank Yous
Infant

Project Linus :
Thank you so much for the quilt I received at Children’s Hospital in Seattle!  It was made by Lucile Nilsen.  I was born premature, and I got stuck and had a skull fracture and hurt my shoulder.  That quilt really brightened up my big giant crib and made me feel nice and cozy!  I spent 2 ½ weeks in the hospital and it was good to bring something home with me.  As you can see I’m big and healthy now, and I really appreciate nice people like you who made my first days easier.
Love, Hannah

Personally from Pat

First Boni and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!
The biggest up-coming event for our Chapter is “Make a Blanket Day.”  It is the first time we have held this event and that is thanks to Viking Sew & Vac in Port Angeles (Pam Pursley especially).  She was very excited about offering her support to Project Linus.   We hope many of you will join us on February 17th and we wish you luck in the raffle for the sewing machine.

The year has started out very brightly for our chapter.  I have received many phone calls and e-mails from people who are interested in joining in our effort to bring some comfort to a seriously ill child.  I am also happy to report a Brownie Troop who will be making blankets.  I look forward to meeting them at their next gathering.  I love it when children make blankets for other children.
Boni and I are always amazed at the people we get to meet and to receive the wonderful blankets they make.  Each and every one will be very special to a child.
Warm regards,
Pat
